All Data Ureter RF Ex Vivo OCT study

dataset
posted on 2024-05-21, 17:56 authored by Dilara LongDilara Long, Jennifer Kehlet Barton

The current technology has limited ability to detect lateral thermal spread of injury caused by electrosurgical devices during gynecologic procedures. We aimed to assess the feasibility of endoscopic optical coherence tomography (OCT) to detect electrothermal ureteral damage in externally injured porcine ureters, ex-vivo.
