Provided abstract: This poster presents preliminary data from an analysis of the corpus of the Tunica language, a linguistic isolate of the Lower Mississippi Valley, from documentation between 1886 and 1938. The data focus on language variation in storytelling by analyzing the frequency of different verb inflections. Further analysis hopes to contribute both to the study of language obsolescence, as well as to the current Tunica language revitalization project. --------------------------------------------- ## Additional Notes Links: - https://sites.google.com/view/wccfl2021/ This presentation is part of the 2021 West Coast Conference on Formal Linguistics collection, which is available here: https://doi.org/10.25422/azu.data.c.5325401
