This poster was presented on 2021 April 8 - 11 at the 39th meeting of the West Coast Conference on Formal Linguistics.

Provided abstract:
Using the framework of Lexical Functional Grammar we propose that clausal complements in O'dam have two distinct syntactic representations. Controlled complement clauses are full COMP objects of their matrix clause, while non-controlled complement clauses are nominal OBJ with an eventuality referent, whose dependents are introduced by an adjunct relative clause.
