Tomopac2 plate tectonic reconstruction files for the software GPlates
In this folder are the GPlates files for Version 1 of the global plate tectonic reconstruction model TOMOPAC2. The TOMOPAC2 model is a topologically-closed, global plate tectonic model with an enhanced circum-Pacific plate tectonic history using structurally-restored slabs from mantle seismic tomography as a prioritized constraint. The plate reconstruction is validated using mantle circulation models by reproducing slab structures comparable to those in the input seismic tomography
