Supplementary data for "The north polar basal unit of Mars: An Amazonian record of surface processes and climate events"

dataset
posted on 2021-10-05, 00:11 authored by Stefano NerozziStefano Nerozzi
This repository contains the geologic and radar mapping vector and raster products resulting from the analysis of radar profiles and visible imagery data of the basal unit (BU) in the Planum Boreum of Mars.

The radar profiles and imagery data are publicly available on the Planetary Data System (https://pds.nasa.gov/). Please refer to the Data and Methods section of the manuscript for details on the analysis and processing procedures.

The final products contained in this repository are in the form of geologic mapping vector files (shapefiles), radar mapping vector and raster files, and impact crater mapping files (spatial crater count, SCC). All vector and raster files use the following projection (projection information is stored in each file): North Polar Stereographic with IAU Mars 2000 datum.
