A global-scale dataset of synthesized maximum photochemical quenching yields and the corresponding environmental information

dataset
posted on 2024-05-31, 15:47 authored by Yang SongYang Song

This dataset is synthesized by collecting the maximum photochemical quenching yield data measured using the Pulse-Amplitude Modulated (PAM) fluorometry method from 380 published studies using the four publication repositories. The dataset will be published with our manuscript: Neri P., Gu L., and Song Y., The Effect of Temperature on Photosystem II Efficiency across Plant Functional Types and Climate, EGU Biogeosciences. The dataset is applied to develop the models that inform the temperature response of the maximum photochemical quenching yield for 12 plant functional types and how the habitat climatology shapes this temperature response.
